Schultz was born the same year as Bendemere. Schultz was named in honor of my dad, who had a playful habit of giving people nicknames. Two of his favorite names were "Bendemere" and "Schultz," which he would affectionately use when teasing friends, family, or people whose names he forgot. When this sheep came along, the name Schultz seemed to fit. Naming him Schultz is a small way to keep my dad's memory alive and celebrate the humor he brought to everyday life.
