Jayde is one of Mr. Peabody’s buddies. She was born in 2018 and was a bottle-fed lamb. She’s a total sweetheart and loves to follow me around the farm. Jayde is one of those special ones who knows her name and comes running when I call her. She was named after a little girl who once ordered a custom pair of wrist warmers. The girl was deaf and used sign language to communicate, so the warmers needed to be long enough to keep her fingers warm while still easily folding back so she could sign. When she placed the order, she asked me to name a sheep after her and showed me how she spelled her name. Jayde is just as sweet and special as her namesake.
